Context
This case study represents the current critical-environment side of the portfolio: Microsoft Fairwater data-center operations supported through Insight Global.
The work is not a product mockup or brand exercise. It is live infrastructure discipline: watch the readings, understand the plant, follow the procedure, document the work, escalate cleanly, and protect uptime without drifting outside the runbook.
That operating standard is the same judgment I bring into software: clear system boundaries, measurable signals, safe execution paths, and careful handoff when the work moves from one person or process to another.
Constraints
- Live data-center work leaves no room for casual changes, vague handoffs, or undocumented assumptions
- Power, cooling, controls, telemetry, and safety procedures have to operate as one coordinated environment
- Maintenance execution must protect uptime while satisfying compliance, documentation, and escalation standards
Outcomes
- Operate and maintain critical infrastructure across power, cooling, controls, and telemetry
- Trend EPMS and BMS readings to catch abnormal behavior before it becomes an alarm
- Execute planned, predictive, and corrective maintenance under SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs
- Support rack energization, readiness checks, CMMS records, and post-maintenance documentation
