Who is responsible

I’m Frank Wilson, based in Atlanta, Georgia. This notice covers my portfolio at frankwilson.me and its frank-wilson.trippfrank.chatgpt.site address, including the contact form. For a privacy question or request, email contact@frankwilson.me. The separate Rack & Role archive and other websites linked here have their own practices.

What the contact form collects

The required fields are your name, email address, inquiry type and message. Choose a project or service, job opportunity, or general inquiry.

You may also provide your organization, phone number, relevant website, service needed, budget range, timing, role or team, job-description link, and location or work arrangement. These details are optional. Only send information relevant to the conversation; the form does not accept attachments.

I use this information to understand and respond to your inquiry and, if we work together, to manage that relationship. It is not used to subscribe you to a mailing list or for automated hiring decisions. I do not sell contact-form information or use it for advertising.

How your message reaches me

1. Your browser submits the form to this site over HTTPS. The server validates it and checks for abuse and duplicate requests.
2. The server sends the accepted message through Resend, including the details you entered. Your email address becomes the message’s Reply-To address.
3. Resend delivers it to contact@frankwilson.me, my Microsoft Exchange mailbox provided through IONOS. I read and reply to it there.

The website database does not keep your name, email address or inquiry body, and the contact handler does not log those fields. This does not mean the email disappears after delivery: Resend and my Exchange mailbox retain copies as described below. There is no automatic reply or mailing-list enrollment. Private editor previews simulate submission without sending mail.

Resend states that it stores message content and delivery data in the United States. Hosting and mail providers may process information in other countries under their own terms. See Resend’s processing and retention information, IONOS’s privacy policy and Microsoft’s privacy statement.

Security, cookies and browser storage

The site uses OpenAI Sites hosting and Cloudflare infrastructure. Delivering and securing pages involves technical information such as IP addresses, request times, requested addresses and browser or connection details. Hosting providers may retain operational or security logs under their policies; those are separate from the contact-form database.

The form uses rate limits, a hidden spam-trap field and duplicate-send protection. Its server processes your IP address to create a keyed, one-way identifier; the form’s anti-abuse tables store that identifier rather than your raw IP address. They also store counters, request and payload fingerprints, delivery status, timestamps and a provider message identifier. They do not store the message itself.

Security cookies may be set by the hosting platform or Cloudflare to detect bots, remember a passed security challenge, or maintain an authenticated session. For example, Cloudflare documents __cf_bm for bot protection and cf_clearance for challenge clearance; which cookies appear depends on the protections used for a request. Sign in with ChatGPT is used for the private owner editor; visitors do not need to sign in to read the portfolio or contact me. The portfolio does not install advertising cookies or visitor analytics trackers. It uses session storage named fw-orientation-dismissed to remember when you dismiss the phone-rotation suggestion for that browser tab. This preference is not sent as telemetry. Unsent form text stays in the current page while you edit or retry; the site does not save it to its database. Your browser may independently remember form entries through autofill.

You can clear cookies and site storage in your browser. Blocking security or sign-in cookies may affect security checks or editor access. Server credentials stay out of the public page, and the editor requires owner authorization. No website or email service can guarantee absolute security; please do not send passwords, identity documents or confidential employer information through this form.

How long information is kept

Form abuse and retry records

Delivery-attempt metadata expires after 48 hours. Rate-limit counters expire at the end of their 15-minute window or UTC day. Expired entries are deleted in bounded batches when later submissions arrive, so physical removal may take longer during quiet periods. The form does not retain inquiry bodies.

Resend

Resend currently states that email and log data is retained for 30 days on its Free plan and that backups persist for seven days. Earlier removal can be requested through Resend. Its linked policy governs provider retention and may change.

My Exchange mailbox

Messages and replies remain in my mailbox while I handle the conversation and any resulting work or recordkeeping. This website does not set an automatic mailbox-deletion deadline. You can ask me to remove a conversation. Some records may need to be retained for ongoing work, legal obligations or resolving a dispute; I will explain any applicable limitation.

Browser preferences and provider logs

The rotation preference lasts for the tab’s session and can be cleared in browser settings. Hosting security logs, mail backups and deleted-item recovery follow the relevant provider’s retention settings; deleting a message from the active mailbox does not necessarily remove every provider backup immediately.

Request access, correction or deletion

Email contact@frankwilson.me with “Privacy request” in the subject. Tell me whether you want a copy, a correction or deletion, and provide the email address and approximate date used for your inquiry. Sending from that same address helps me verify the request without collecting unnecessary identity documents.

I will review the request, verify it where needed, and respond under the requirements that apply to you. For deletion, I can remove correspondence I control and ask relevant providers for assistance when necessary. I will explain any information that must remain and why. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, or complain to your local data-protection authority.

Changes to this notice

This notice describes the site’s current configuration. If the contact workflow, providers or data practices change, I will update this page and its revision date.
